In December 2009, Fenner Wind Farm in Madison County was dealt a minor setback when one of its twenty wind turbines collapsed. No one was hurt during the unfortunate incident and sources say that at that time computers revealed no major problems that would of hinted toward such an event taking place. Investigations are ongoing and as a precaution all remaining turbines were shut down pending the results of the investigation by engineers.
